RUN TRAVIS RUN

After legendary blink-182 drummer and producer Travis Barker survived a horrific, life-threatening plane crash in 2008, his doctors told him he may never walk or play the drums the same again, but he proved the doctors wrong. Travis started the Run Travis Run run club to inspire runners of all walks of life and support their personal journeys of physical & mental health, as well as their individuality, because like music, running is personal— it’s your pace, your rhythm, your personal best—embraced and made all the more powerful in a pack.

And because Spotify is a place for extreme individuals to let their freak flag fly, we united punk fans and runners through playlists and data by inspiring them to be who they are and inviting them to come run with us.

With fans and music at the core of everything we do at Spotify, every chance we get to bring fans closer to the artists and their passions is an opportunity to build connection, community and culture.

“I’m always hyped to bring Run Travis Run to the public. It’s about community, getting people moving, being outside, and feeling connected,” Travis said. “Music has always been a part of my life. Every genre means something to me in a different way. I built this Spotify playlist with my go-to tracks for working out. Hope it fuels you.”
