BAPE X SPOTIFY

Leading creative across global partnerships and cultural collaborations at Spotify is always an opportunity to bring world-class brands and culture-shaping creative together in ways that are surprising, impactful, and powerful. It allows us to give fans something that goes beyond just one genre. In the case of BAPE, we were able to orchestrate multiple collabs to date, between Rap Caviiar, our Hip Hop Playlist Fandom and a highly coveted global streetwear fashion icon with roots in Japan. Fans went crazy for the limited edition apparel and hype that was built around the launches of both drops, lining up to experience the coming together of two of their favorite brands and get closer to the community they belong to.

On November 25, 2025, we announced Central Cee as creative director of our newest collaboration with BAPE® and dropped the first tee exclusively for Spotify fans and invited them to the London bape store to get one. The next day, the collection dropped globally including social content, street posters, a special fanzine, limited edition sticker packs, billboards around the world, and global BAPE® store takeovers, giving fans the collab they wanted from two brands that they love and follow for music, fashion and more.

The first BAPE® x SPOTIFY exclusive capsule collection dropped in the Fall of 2024 with a first-of-its-kind RapCaviar playlist takeover with BAPE’s signature camouflage design and GloRilla on the cover. This was the first step in our collab with BAPE® to bring our brand to life in fresh, unique & unexpected ways, featuring re-imagined versions of BAPE’s iconic Shark Hoodie and College Tee. The limited-edition collection was first shared with a select group of streetwear and hip-hop tastemakers before becoming available to fans for one day only at the BAPE STORE Los Angeles.
